The DanceSport Philippine Team swept awards in The 3rd Hanoi Stars Open in Hanoi, Vietnam, on July 8 and 9, 2023. Out of forty-six (46) competitors, Team Cebu City ruled in the WDSF Open Latin Category. Angelo Marquez and Stephanie Sabalo were the Gold medalists—the Champions; in third place were Bronze medalists Wilbert Aunzo and Pearl Marie Cañeda; and in fifth place were Jefferson Zamora Pimentel and Mary Desiree Seraga.

WDSF Open Latin Category

🇵🇭1st Place – Philippines, Angelo Marquez & Stephanie Sabalo

2nd Place – Kazakhstan

🇵🇭3rd Place – Philippines, Wilbert Aunzo & Pearl Marie Cañeda

4th Place – Malaysia

WDSF Open Standard Category

Meanwhile, Ana Nualla Aranar and Sean Aranar stood 5th in the WDSF Open Standard Category. The quarterfinalists were Wilanne Rose Ducay and Gian Yee; Elmer Fernando and Doris Medina. Semifinalists were Mark Gayon and Mary Joy Renigen.

Rising Star Standard Category

6th Placers in the Rising Star Standard Category were Mark Gayon and Mary Joy Renigen.

Senior II Open Latin and Senior II Open Standard CHAMPIONS

Ms. Eleanor Hayco, Chairwoman of DanceSport Team Cebu City (DTCC), and her dance partner, Mr. Lloyd Bartolini, were marvellously hailed as champions in Senior II Open Latin and in Senior II Open Standard categories.
