The World Masters Games is an international multi-sport event held every four years governed by the International Masters Games Association. Featuring experienced athletes—many of whom are former Olympians or elite competitors—competing across a diverse array of disciplines.
Its slogan is “Sport beyond Age! Life Without Limits.”
This was the first time the Games had been hosted in Asia, attracting more than 25,000 competitors from 108 countries and regions taking part in 35 sports. This is also the first time Dancesport has been included.

At the World Masters Game 2025, DanceSport Team Cebu City’s (DTCC) brilliance shone through at the Taipei Arena, New Taipei City, Taiwan from May 27–29, 2025.
Lloyd Bartolini and Eleanor Hayco, DTCC’s Chairwoman dazzled the audience by clinching three gold medals in the Age 40–45+ category (Grade D Senior Latin 2, Grade C Senior Latin 2, and Grade B Senior Latin 2 categories) while Marlon Aliño and Lucy Hamilton won Silver for category Age 35-40+ (Grade D Senior 1 Standard category). Their stellar achievements showcase not only their unique talents but also the strength and unwavering dedication of DTCC on the international stage.
