In March 2025, at the PDSFI 1st Quarter Ranking in Urdaneta City, DanceSport Team Cebu City dazzled the floor with 25 gold, 12 silver, and 9 bronze medals—a remarkable showcase of talent, determination, and Cebuano pride.

But champions never settle.

Three months later, June 14-15, 2025, at the 2nd Quarter National DanceSport Championship held at Philsports Multi-Purpose Arena, DTCC surpassed their record, earning 29 gold, 13 silver, and 12 bronze medals. It’s more than an increase in numbers—it’s a testament to unshakable spirit, relentless discipline, and the transformative power of dance.

DanceSport Team Cebu City (DTCC), you achieved an awe-inspiring triumph, once again proving that Cebuano heart, grit, and rhythm know no bounds! From a stellar 1st quarter showing to surpassing yourselves in the 2nd, your dedication has turned dreams into golden milestones.

DTCC, as you prepare to step onto the dance floor for the 3rd Quarter, remember this: no big prize comes with small effort. Behind every graceful move and perfect step is a mountain of sweat, sacrifice, and unshakable belief. Let your past victories remind you that greatness is earned, not given.

Chase your dreams with the same fire that carried you here. Stay grounded in humility, fueled by discipline, and united as one unstoppable force. The world is watching—and cheering—as you dance your way to history.

We are proud of you. We believe in you. And we’re with you every step of the way. Now go train harder and dream bigger. The next gold awaits.

To the coaches and trainers—thank you for the tireless hours, for believing in your dancers, and for the relentless push to be your best. To your fellow dancers—your co-DTCC army on the floor—you’ve lifted each other in triumph and trial, proving that success is sweetest when shared.

Always support one another. Applaud each other’s progress, uplift each other in hard times, and move forward as one team, one family, one DanceSport Team Cebu City.

While medals glitter in the spotlight, it is the friendship behind the scenes that truly shines.

Always put to heart what Sir Ed, Mr. Edward Hayco (PSC Commissioner), said: “We may look like we are competing against each other, but we should not. We should be helping each other. ❤️ Don’t be obsessed with winning; be obsessed with friendship.”

ABOUT THE QUARTER RANKING

The PDSFI Quarter Ranking National Dancesport Championship is a prestigious national-level competition organized by the Philippine DanceSport Federation, Inc. (PDSFI), the official governing body for DanceSport in the Philippines. This event gathers top dancers nationwide to compete in various categories—from Solo Youth to Intercollegiate and Grade-level divisions.

The main purpose of the PDSFI Quarter Ranking is to provide a structured, year-round platform for DanceSport athletes in the Philippines to:

  • Track their progress and consistency across multiple competitions.
  • Earn ranking points that contribute to their national standing.
  • Qualify for national team selection and international representation.
  • Promote grassroots development by encouraging participation from various regions and age groups.

It’s not just about winning medals—it’s about building a dancer’s journey through discipline, exposure, and growth. Each quarter serves as a stepping stone, and by the end of the year, the cumulative rankings reflect who has truly excelled across the national stage.

It’s more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of discipline, artistry, and the transformative power of dance.
