DanceSport Team Cebu City (DTCC) proudly celebrates its athletes’ outstanding achievements at the 40th Sportswriters Association of Cebu–San Miguel Brewery (SAC-SMB) Cebu Sports Awards, held at Ayala Center Cebu on March 8, 2026.
DTCC Chairwoman Eleanor Hayco and her dance partner Lloyd Bartolini received a Major Award in DanceSport, while Marlon Aliño and Lucy Hamilton earned a Citation Award in DanceSport.
The SAC-SMB Awards, often called the “Oscars of Cebu sports”, is the province’s most prestigious annual sports recognition ceremony, honoring the best athletes, coaches, and sports personalities for their achievements in 2025.
Global Triumph at the World Masters Games 2025
DTCC’s brilliance extended beyond Cebu to the international stage at the World Masters Games 2025, held at the Taipei Arena, New Taipei City, Taiwan (May 27–29, 2025).
- One of Eleanor and Lloyd’s greatest achievements was clinching three gold medals in the Age 40–45+ Senior Latin categories (Grade D, Grade C, and Grade B).
- Marlon Aliño and Lucy Hamilton proudly brought home a Silver Medal in the Age 35–40+ Senior Standard category (Grade D).
These victories highlight Cebu’s growing reputation as a DanceSport powerhouse, inspiring the next generation of athletes to dream big and pursue excellence.
